Purchases and sales using weight accounts
Commercial customers and companies may hold weight accounts at Heraeus of precious metals that they have purchased or have received back through a recycling contract. This service is offered by Heraeus’ three commercial trading units at no additional cost.
Upon request, the precious metals can be delivered in physical form to customers at any time. Heraeus will arrange for transport to the desired destination based on competitive conditions. Transfer from a weight account maintained at Heraeus Precious Metals GmbH & Co. KG for further processing of the designated metal will occur at no cost.
Alternatively, precious metals can also be resold to Heraeus Metallhandelsgesellschaft based on current market conditions at any time.
